Stand Up & Slam! at BlahBlahBlah's Big Weekend!

  • The Wardrobe Theatre The Old Market Assembly, 25 West Street Old Market Bristol, BS2 0DF (map)

After the success of last year’s brilliant word-filled bonanza, Blah’s Big Weekend returns for a three day festival packed with performances, workshops and one roaring stand up and slam.

Easily one of the best things about this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, SUAS will be bringing six phenomenal acts to Big Weekend and going head to head for your approval as poetry and comedy collide with unexpected and hilarious results! Our resident team captains are joined by the most exciting comedy and poetry acts from around the UK, mashing up the two art forms in an epic battle of spoken word. Who wins? You decide…

TEAM COMEDY: Captain Rob Carter, Abigoliah Schaumaun & Tez Ilyas.
TEAM POETRY: Captain Dan Simpson, Vanessa Kissule & Bohdan Piasecki.
