We're absolutely delighted to welcome GUY BOLTON as this month's guest novelist at Christopher Bliss' Literary Salon (this Friday 7th April at Camden Comedy Club). Guy is a screenwriter and author who has worked in publishing, film and television. He currently works in drama at BBC Worldwide. His first novel The Pictures has just come out in the UK and is an absolute rollercoaster of a noir thriller set in 1930's Hollywood.

'An astonishingly accomplished debut' The Daily Mail

'A saga of moral compromise in LA vividly evokes a vanished era' Financial Times

'Brilliantly atmospheric and compelling' The Mail on Sunday

'splendid read…handled with great skill…[Bolton] paints a portrait of the period with a confidence usually reserved for old survivors.' The Times

'There's a real pace to the story and an effortless evocation of the Hollywood of the nineteen thirties.' The Bookbag
